3 of us went in and got the 3 course dinner option , plenty to choose from we had the carvery which was delicious.... The staff were pleasant and helpful , Jackie and Catherine looked after us and nothing was a problem , nice friendly atmosphere .
Miss mash of tables, different heights making up a table for 4 food was quick and BIG portions, although mostly of chips but to NOT have vinegar wasn't in the delivery, apparently , don't you know Sainsburys is over the road, a quid out of the till would be great. Hallumi fries not worth the price, 5 pieces for £3.99, NOPE won't be ordering them anytime soon.
Been coming here for years and recently they made the bar area dog friendly. Staff are always amazing and happy to get a bowl of water for the pup. Food is always cracking too, reccomend the pizzas and the carvery is always excellent. They also do carvery deliveries through just eat which is handy for a lazy Sunday. Great for youngsters too, our wee one loves playing in the park they have when it's suitable to use weather permitting. Mel is always helpful and welcoming as are all the other staff.
10/10 experience! I was in this afternoon and we received outstanding customer service from one of the servers Amy. She was so lovely and attentive, we felt very looked after. Amy also had a great sense of humour and made us chuckle which was nice. Would recommend popping in for a drink and food.
Me and husband had fish ans chips and apple pie and custard definitely come back it was brilliant.
Was here for a wee meal and drink after a lovely christening, the staff were so accommodating, friendly and great atmosphere, great efficient service! Would recommend!
Lovely wee pub. Carvery dinner was superb. Went for Christmas event. Meat was beautifully prepared and there was ample sides to accompany it. Servings were generous and prices amazing. Fully intend to return. Great stuff.
Went in for the carvery few weeks ago and was not disappointed. Friendly staff. You can sit-in takeaway or have it delivered. Filled me up nicely and not too pricey. Will definitely visit again.
First time here great place carvery great although there is other things on menu Worth a visit
Excellent places to come and enjoy time with family. Me and my son come regularly to play pool together, great way to entertain him, plus it’s a cheap way too. Games r only £1, plus all staff r very helpful and accommodating. Keeps him happy for hours, which is good for me. Plus can sneek a couple pints in too
