Had a really lovely meal and drinks with my friends, staff couldn't be anymore helpful. And the Banter was great, one of the ladies, I think cath maybe have been her name was especially cheery and helpful. All n all it was a great service, food was great quality and the wait times were next to nothing. Will definitely be back.
We have visited the restaurant for my brother’s birthday dinner last night , we were told that the kitchen will be closed in 20 minutes so we quickly placed our order. I went up to the bar to ask for a drink menu, staff were all standing together laughing and chatting while they ignored me even though they saw me standing there. Few minutes after I went up to ask if they can put candle in a cake for my brother and they informed me that there is no candle. I kindly asked if is possible to just write happy birthday beside a fudge cake and the staff member i spoke to said it’s fine to do that. 30 minutes later i walked up to the bar again as no one came to check if the food is okay and if we need anything, as they were busy chatting, the girl in bar said sorry the kitchen is closed. If this was the case i should have been informed at the start when i asked for it. This is the first place I have been to that that the service is very horrible that I will never go back and recommend to anyone. We were also charged extra for drinks so make sure to check the bill before paying .Besides all the bad experience with staff, the food was the better side of the night.
I'm not usually one for leaving reviews but have to give credit where it is due. First time having a meal in Old Plane Tree and was delighted with my overall experience, as a family of 7 with 5 young picky eaters the kids menu was a real good hit with my kids, and very well priced which is always a bonus, we were served by a lovely lady called Cath and nothing was a bother very helpful and always had a smile on her face. Great customer service goes a long we will definitely be back. Thank you.
Thank you for making my mums 80th birthday so special. The venue and food was outstanding and Anne and the team did everything they could to make us happy both pre and post event We were allowed to set up tables and flowers well before the booking time This removed added stress of hosting a party Thanks again guys Parking: Great handy location Wheelchair accessibility: My mum is in a wheelchair this wasn’t a problem as it’s very accessible
A lovely meal out with friends, a party of six. Great service at the bar and at the table. Tasty food, with slight adjustment requests agreed and largely adhered to. A big improvement overall on our previous visit.Food: 5/5
Darcey is absolutely adorable, she was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable regarding the menu options. Our order came with our specific requirements and Darcey checked in to make sure we were enjoying our visit! Thanks for a lovely munch!
First time and it won’t be my last! Great service and banter with staff. I really enjoyed my meal and the staff were fab with my daughter who is fussy but she loved her food. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back. Cath and Jenna were so friendly and I can’t thank them enough for how they helped us.
Our waitress Darcey was superb. Friendly and happy looking after us. Nothing was a problem for her. She helped us with the menu also and relayed our wishes to the chef which resulted in a superb steak. I hope next time we come, whe are fortunate enough to be looked after by her again.Food: 5/5
Had a great family meal here. Food was great. Very friendly warm atmosphere and our server jena was lovely. Very polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: My daughter has autism and has certain food habits which were adhered to without any hassle. Kid-friendliness: Play park is a great advantage. The kids played happily while we ate. The older kids enjoyed a game of pool and darts.
Pleasantly surprised came in for breakfast wasn't expecting anything special breakfast was genuinely on par with some 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Great presentation, flavour and really good quality for the moneyFood: 5/5
