Wished I could be more enthusiastic about this place but unfortunately I only walk through it to get to another park. Adjacent to it is a large activity centre which I’ve only ever been in to have my covid vaccinations but it does look impressive if you’re a gym type person. It’s a green space in a drab area so for that alone it gets the thumbs up
Nice field for football or dog walking. Skate park is always covered in debris or ash. No toilets
Kids on motorbikes and police chasing them while there's kids football on the pitches. Wouldn't give it one star at all
Children's football training. Excellent!
Cool place to bring the kids on their scooters. Skate park is one of the better ones around. Sadly as we were about to leave, a group of lads thought it would be funny to shut the gates and try and intimidate us.
Great place to walk the dog. Not a lot of people go there to be honest. There is a bowling green which I believe is locked when not in use ie by local teams. There's a skateboard park for the kids and goals up during the season. The park is well maintained with a cycle, pedestrian path around the perimeter. Carpark can get busy at school times as parents collecting their children tend to use it.
NO swings. No slide. No climbing frame,No nothing. There is a skate park half pipe & rail and 2 big open spaces of land which people walk there dogs around. Better when I was a child. Will not take my children 3 & 4 there again as there is nothing to do unless you have a dog or a BMX.
Not bad in terms of layout and attractiveness. Football areas available and also tennis courts, skate park and bowls green, so provision is excellent for the size of this little park. If, as we have, you have a dog that is nervous of other dogs it can be a bit stressful using Leamore Park for dog walking as other dogs are often off lead. Also, occasional presence of drunk or drugged smell of cannabis can be obvious individuals can be off-putting. We have also been targeted for abuse swearing by bored youngsters from the skate park when all we were doing was minding our own business walking our dog. So on a good day and depending on who else is there it can be lovely, but on a bad day it can be unpleasant. Recommend not going there later in the day unaccompanied as that tends to be when it feels more uncomfortable.
Ok for for football , tennis cricket pitches , popular with dog walkers, building leisure centre/ baths has made it less attractive to me .
Leamore park is lovely I take my dog to play ball and meet her little doggy friends it has football pitches and the kids enjoy a game of football plus a skate board area and tennis basketball and you can take a nice walk through the park to go to bloxwich for some shopping plus asda
