Leamington Studio Artists is a registered charity, supporting the Arts and Artists in Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas.

Story

Leamington Studio Artists is based at East Lodge in Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa and is run entirely by volunteers. Its aim is to foster and increase the public interest, awareness and appreciation of the visual arts. The membership of LSA includes artists working in a wide range of media: painters, ceramicists, photographers, jewellers, etc.

LSA has been writing, publishing and distributing its journal, ArtSpace, since 1998.

In 2014, LSA founded Art in the Park, an annual, free, arts festival based in Jephson Gardens.

LSA has regular exhibitions in its Galleries, which are available to hire, at East Lodge. The Galleries are open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday. In addition to the monthly exhibitions, the LSA has an annual open show and organises art fairs.

East Lodge, which is on the banks of the River Leam, also houses artist studios.

LSA keeps in touch with its members and supporters through monthly newsletters and through Facebook and Twitter.

LSA is registered charity number 1147593.

Mission

LSA is established for the benefit of the general public and its primary objectives are: to represent and promote the visual arts in Leamington Spa and the surrounding area; to foster and improve public education, interest and appreciation in all forms of the visual arts; to provide and encourage access to the visual arts for the general public; to assist and facilitate necessitous artists of promise in the continuance of their work.
