Disappointment as bitter as the cold weather. I visited this establishment having seen the positive reviews on Google. This venue is not a place where you go if you spend the majority of your time wearing hard hats and ear defenders. It more of a Mac Book and Man-bun atmosphere. Positives --------------- - Friendly staff - Clean environment - Varied menu and beverage selection - Freshly made cakes, juices and shakes Negatives ---------------- - Fake bacon (turkey instead of pork) - Fake sausages (beef instead of pork) - Set menus that don't include toast and tea/coffee - Poor design - The lights hang so low that should you be folicly challenged, you will look like an egg being incubated - Inadequate heating - Slow service - Pricey menu - Poor bathroom facilities; The hand drier looked 80 years old and sounded like it had smoked 20 fags a day - No croissant at 9am; Surprised the French didn't invade us that is such sacrilege - Strange decor which doesn't really work. The collection of items hanging off the walls and on display are so random, its as if a strong breeze just blew a heap of items in from the street - Only one newspaper on the rack, which was 3 days old

Absolutely disgusted by the customer service in this cafe. Doesn’t even deserve a star. I usually like to comment on good experiences however this was unusually Terrible. I went with my other half as it was recommended to us, however I would of preferred to get a McDonald’s breakfast at least you get better service! I came across a lady at the till I believe her name is Margaret or so she said! Blond ponytail with glasses.anyhow, I found her to be completely abrupt when I asked her about the different breakfast offers all I received in response was “look” as she pointed to the blackboard. That was the first sign when I should have left. I then asked if I could get the £5 breakfast meal but add a beef burger she then huffed and said that’ll be £3 extra which I said was fine. My other half orderedthe same thing however funnily it came up to £22.50.when I asked why this was the case, she rolled her eyes and hugged and said she had to charge for the burger meal even though she just said it would cost and extra £3 so I then decided to cancel the burger to which point she ignored me and told me she had other people to serve so I need to wait. Left me there for 10 minutes even though she had served all her customers at this point I went back to the car and told my other half to get a full refund. This is not how you treat paying customers and people with better customer service need to be hired. I’ve never left a cafe feeling so insulted. I will not be recommending this place to anyone!! In fact I shall be doing the complete opposite Janine

Really friendly staff, delicious pizza from the Italian bakery and nice music. Loved it!

Unpretentious, affordable, but excellent quality coffee, cakes, breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream. Very hard working place that cares and fills an important local role.

Ordered a panini and the chicken filling was ice cold..they had put in filling after toasting panini.. Poor form
