Cracking little tea room, plenty of character and very quiant. Lovely food and a good menu to choose from. Seating outside on nice days and seating indoors overlooking the square. Good quality food at reasonable prices. We paid £14 for afternoon tea for two. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful little cafe above Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe! Brilliant customer service from the people who own it! Menu is very good for fussy eaters like myself (dairy intolerant) Fairly priced considering the high quality local produce they use

Cafe situated upstairs in listed building. Staff pleasant and helpful. Large portions of cakes given which always goes down well. Not suitable for wheelchairs as no apparent lift, steep stairs and quirky room layout, again, I presume due to it being listed. Down stairs is a traditional sweet shop which was excellent too!

A great little tea shop located above a gift shop that offers a wide range of food and drink at affordable prices. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The tea room is in a great location and offer a relaxing and olde world experience.

Very nice tea rooms in a very old building pre 1600. Nice atmosphere and always quite busy when we go which inevitably is on a Knaresborough Market Day of Wednesday
