I dropped in for food & a pint. Not to busy but waited to long for attention. Floor staff past me by, after a while I moved towards the bar asked the barman he's to busy asked a lounge girl for a table got a blank look. Finally a gentleman I think maybe the manager spotted me and got a table sorted. The food was very nice but small portion. No one asked how I was or if I was enjoying the food or if I needed anything. It was difficult to get the attention of the floor staff for the bill. I'm pretty sure I could have left and not be mist. So nice place a good pint taste food though small and staff could be a lot more aware maybe they lack experience.

At a wedding here on Friday and what an amazing day. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were amazing, so pleasant nothing too much trouble, especially Laura on reception. Food was 5*,  rooms were very comfortable and what a choice at breakfast. Will definitely be returning.Rooms: 5/5

I got married here in 2021 and from the day we went to view the place staff where excellent ! Collen is amazing , Janette is amazing and the staff member with the beautiful coloured hair in the bar restaurant is so friendly and helpful that we asked if she could help at reception! Beautiful hotel great food excellent service ! The wedding day from start to finish was perfection and can’t thank the staff and hotel enough ! Great breakfast next day ! Bridal suite AMAZING   Thankyou to everyone again can’t recommend this place enough

Just called to book a table for the family to watch the final tomorrow in the guise of a 'family dinner', and after 3 other venues failing to accommodate me, Danielle on the phone went to great lengths to make sure we were sorted.  You can't train great service like that, very pleased with the outcome, and the company should commend the efforts of the staff member that took the call.

Christmas dinner for large group. Service was good but but after we finished eating we hadn't been reserved a table in the main bar our group was placed in a back room with no music or atmosphere at all. Shame as the main bar seemed to be a good night but we weren't allowed to move and were sent back to the empty room if we tried to change to another table

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great value for money , comfortable bed, access to bus stop. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Truly enjoyed our stay.Rooms: 5/5

Brilliant staff, excellent food and cocktails, live music, real coffee brought to room, late breakfast to 11.30am - and its great. Would highly recommend.Rooms: 4/5

ideal if you are getting the ferry as a short easy drive away ,was quite busy and there wasnt tea making facilities in the rooms  tea addict ,but rooms were comfy and there was entertainment in the Large bar which had a great selection of drinksRooms: 5/5
