I unfortunately found myself here for a spell after a fall at home. I must say that the staff are excellent from the cleaners to the kitchen staff to the carers and nurses everyone is fantastic. The care and attention i received was very close to being at home . Everyone looked after me so well and I must give huge thanks to the physio team who got me back on my feet to my capabilities. I ended up 22 weeks here. I amna picky eater and the chef and his team catered for me well. The staff also made my visitors very welcome giving them cups of teanand coffee. Thank you all so much I want to name you all individually but i am afraid I would forget someone.
As a family we thought of Nursing homes as unsafe or cold places that would never be a solution of our Grandmothers complex medical needs. Lansdowne proved to us that Nursing Homecare can be compassionate, warm and trustworthy. The staff have made her new home welcoming, safe and have great craic with her. Recent decor upgrades enhanced the warm feel of the interior and a new book-lending library for the residents is fantastic for the folks with minimal mobility.nnThank-you so much to everyone who takes such lovely care of our beloved Granny!
My mother suffered multiple pressure sores at this facility and died. Staff are pleasant but inadequately trained. When I raised concerns regarding poor care, they raised a safeguarding alert against me. You do reach the conclusion that the standards of care expected are so low that you wouldn’t allow any one to go near these places never mind a beloved relative.
my mum was in here for two weeks she said it was a lovely place and she was well looked after whatever she needed help with she got it. big shout out to the physio for working with her and getting her back on her feet 5 stars from us
It is a lovely caring place. Everyone is so nice . And also helpful. Just what you need in a care home
