Langport Veterinary Centre is a long established practice, caring for all your family pets as well as horses. We also offer 24hr emergency service.

Story

Based in Langport, we are able to offer our services to the majority of towns and villages in the South Somerset area. The practice is approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and is a training centre for veterinary nurses.

We offer a 24hr emergency service run by our own vets and nurses.

Our Registered veterinary nurses are always available for a chat - please give them a ring or call in for advice - this service is FREE!
We offer nurse clinics on a range of issues including:
- puppies and kittens
- weight
-dietary and nutrition
-diabetic
-dental
-fleas
and much much more!

Clean and tidy with kind and caring staff. Reasonably priced for Somerset.Very friendly staff. 24hr emergency cover offered. I have used them for all of my animals for close to 20yrs. They also run the practice in street. Honest diagnosis and they will direct you to specialist providers when in the animals best interest. Car park is small however a free public car park is very close on the other side of the road.

Have always been very good to me only a few times they have been late. But overall they are great

I'm ridiculous,couldn't afford to take my hamster to the vet but we love her and didn't want her to die in pain. Phoned and was told consultation was £20 odd quid and euthanasia if nessacery included. Very reasonable I thought. Co-co perked up on her outing and the vet was quick to note that although she was geriatric, she was not ready to go just yet. Thankyou for looking carefully, and thankyou for not righting her off. We all really love her x

Vet I spoke to out of hours was friendly and gave options. But vet who saw my cat was very dismissive, grumpy and made me feel like I was wasting his time. He didn't bother to find out any history, even though she'd been under anaesthetic and diagnosed with issues symptomatic of the problems I took her in for. The next day my cat was worse so I took her to a different practice and was told she should have been seen to properly. Reception also seemed quite chaotic.
