We’ll worth a visit, great food and great people. The nicest coronation chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Dog friendly too, in the outdoor seating area. Thoroughly recommend
It was very busy when we got there. We joined the que and it did not take too long before we were taken to a table. We found the staff very friendly. We decided to have afternoon tea. Oh boy it was absolutely wonderful. The sandwiches were overflowing with the fillings and lovely brown bread. Followed by scones and jam, a traybake and the most delicious giant meringue with cream and i little chocolate flake on the top. With a lovely latte coffee. This was our visit and it will not be the last visit. We highly recommend for anyone thinking about taking a trip there something you will not regret.
First visit. We were there yesterday. Had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. The food was lovely and good portion size but it was so noisy, making conversation difficult. Not sure if mid week may be better. Expense for light lunch. Had under 12 with us but not given or told about kids menu.

Some of the staff could smile more. So sorry I used to work in the business years ago and a smile was part of the job. However food and location are incredible.Food: 5/5

Idyllic location, not too far off the beaten track but enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Well appointed, clean, friendly and helpful staff combine to make a very happy experience. Our first visit so just a quick coffee and cake but the coffee was outstanding with a perfect crema and just the right strength. Cakes? Very good and a reasonable size for the price. Personally I'd have preferred the lemon meringue pie a touch less sweet and more tart. The wife's lemon fudge tasted more lemony but even so it was excellent. We'll definitely be back now we've found it.
