After trying to make a appointment for 2 hours, I decided to go to the site in person. Only to be met my a very unpolite, and frankly disrespectful guy called Warren, who was no help at all, and obviously had a chip on his shoulder. Well Warren, if I could give you zero stars I would. YOU SHOULD FIND A NEW JOB IF YOU CAN NOT TALK TO PEOPLE WITH ANY RESPECT. NO HELP WHATSOEVER.
Well laid out. Good signage. Helpful staff. Only problem thus far is lazy/bone idle customers. The number of people that want to park right by the skip they want, while there are plenty of parking spaces about 20/30 metres walk away, causing pile ups, is astronomical. Walking is good for you.
Don't expect any help if you're a woman on your own. Staff refuse to lift anything heavy since they've had a "directive". Completely wasted journey, had to return home with my heavy items which will remain in the back of my car forevermore
The only tip for miles and they refuse things because they don't have the skips available to put plasterboard in becausethey cant empty and refill them. Can't rent a van to book in advance because you need to know the reg. You can email them but they take 10 days to reply! Cant take by car without multiple trips and even then its a gamble on whether they'll take it. Absolute waste of time
Ok if you're between 18 to 20 female short skirt low top. If you are a pensioner or disabled or even the only one there with a large load your on your own with an audience.
Doing the best they can in the circumstances. Well organised social distancing measures. Can get very busy at weeekends with a long queue I was waiting nearly half an hour, so don't leave it too late or you may not get through the gate before closing time!
Lots of garden waste from my house. Small car so went with trailer. Absolutely ridiculous - have to book in advance and can only go once a month. No wonder there is a fly tipping problem
Really friendly helpful staff. Seems really well organized considering the circumstances they're working under. During COVID Be advised only one type of rubbish per visit for cars. Vans need to book appointment.
Staff refused to help a disabled man remove a large object from his car. He stated “I can’t mate, you might have breathed on it”. Man eventually took it back home‍ so much for helping hands.
Usually polite enough but lazy staff, could have done with help lifting a heavy ceramic toilet into the skip, couldn't manage it on my own so left it just outside of the container.
