A very good and efficient firm of solicitors. Tom was very professional in his dealings with our wills initially on the phone and then in person. He even brought up things we had never thought of. Gill his secretary was also very efficient and precise in all the paperwork. They were very pleasant people to deal with and we would definitely use them again
Extremely good and honest firm of solicitors in the heart of Epsom. Do not be deceived by the office interior, which is a bit dated. The quality of staff is unbelievable. Unusually for a law firm, they actually aren't out to rip you off and are exceedingly honest. Would highly recommend Keira Vyvyan-Robinson who was refreshingly honest and pragmatic family solicitor and barrister without the extortionate rate. She is also a qualified mediator. The high quality you get in the central London inns, in the heart of Epsom without the London price tag. Well worth the visit if you need a family solicitor firm.
I have been dealing with Gumersalls for about 5 years, and don't see myself ever changing solicitors. They first helped me with the purchase of my first home which I was very nervous about. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, keeping me in the loop at all times which was very reassuring, and their personal and friendly nature made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I have recommended them to a number of friends and family following this, all of who have had a similar experience. If you are looking for a local solicitor firm, I highly recommend you get in touch with them!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Laura Pawley for her professionalism, efficiency and friendliness in helping me and my wife to draw up a pressing power of attorney document that needed her notary services. Our confidence in her grew when we decided to ask her to become our conveyancing lawyer in helping us purchase our first property. She was most ably assisted by Ms Carol Millroy whom we were in contact most for the daily communications; however, whenever we were in need for technical explanations about the contents of the survey reports, queries were explained by Laura in clear detail and with the utmost patience. We are truly grateful for the smoothness, thoroughness in all paperwork involved for the whole transaction process during these three and a half months. Thank you Laura and Carol in your professionalism in helping us finding our home! Highly recommended.
Tom Edwards at Gumersalls was a great help as I finally got around to getting my Will sorted out. He made it a very straightforward process - not sure why I left it so long to do! I've used Gumersalls for some conveyancing work in the past and sorting out a Statutory Declaration - I wouldn't go anywhere else now for any legal assistance.
My husband and I were putting off writing our will for years until we came across Gumersalls. Tom Edwards made the whole experience very easy, straight forward and uncomplicated. Tom is very efficient, methodic, professional and thorough. I can highly recommend!

We had the worst experience with Gumersalls. As first time buyers we were unsure of the process and when asked what to expect next our questions were simply ignored. Not only this but we were spoken down to, patronised and left feeling anxious and confused. They were incredible slow and we even had to correct them on various legal paperwork. Overall, they made the process worst so would really not recommend especially to first time buyers.
