Not a good place for building snowmans but a good place and environment for study abroad. I met many of my good friends here, everyone is good and takes care of me all the time like family. Cannot believe we had just known each other for few months

I completed my undergraduate degree at Lancaster and graduated July 2016. I had an amazing 3 years. I knew it was going to be my firm choice as soon as I visited on an open day. The campus is lovely with a brilliant atmosphere - There's so much greenery and the buildings are very modern, as is the accommodation (I fell in love with my uni room). The facilities are great (particularly the recently renovated library, and the sports centre which I loved for its climbing wall). The teaching is also of a high quality. I would highly recommend studying at Lancaster University, or at least visiting the campus to see what you think of it first.

My take on the University as an Exchange student, the university prides itself on being #9 in the UK. If you got to a school that's in the top 200 in the US than you go to a better university than this one. The staff is unprofessional at best and belligerent at worst. The exchange program is totally is managed. As an anecdote, the class registration is still handled on pieces of paper with students having to queue in a large room to sign up for their choice modules. It's not the 1980s Lancaster! Absolute joke.

I'm currently a first year undergraduate in Ethics, Philosophy and Religion and I love it! Good teaching and resources as well as an excellent campus!
