Not dog friendly. I have not been refused service in a pub since I was 15 in 1982. But to be refused because no dogs after 7pm was bizzare. Children I would understand - they get tired after bedtime and cry and we wouldn't want to expose them to bad language in a pub; but dogs? What happens to them after 7pm? Well I jogged on to the excellent Crown up the road and spent a very pleasant evening there.

A real gem of a pub with quirky décor , good music and a nice selection of beers - just 1 or 2 cask but interesting , mainly local and well kept plus US and continental on keg with a large selection of spirits and some Belgian bottles. We were genuinely baffled about some of the comments we saw on social media regarding the landlord - we popped in 4 times during our week in Penzance , were always made welcome and never heard Miguel be anything but courteous to anyone !

Well worth finding, small but really interesting bar with a unique style of decor. Excellent range of craft and continental beers in both bottles and cans. A good variety of keg and cask beers alongside an incredible assortment of spirits. Food is available although I didn't try it.

Nice beer, friendly barman, quirky cool place. Love it.

Best pub we have been in for years. The owner is seriously wanting to give a great selection of spirits and beers with an interesting twist of atmosphere. Try it stay a while you will get it !! so different. We will be back.
