We ordered food for a family of five. The food was lovely and full of flavour, the meats were perfect cooked and thankfully none of that frozen rubber chicken rubbish that other takeaways tend to use, just fresh ingredients and a very decent portion size. I can’t fault any of the food at all, my only issue would be that main courses should ideally come with rice/chips as standard, however, this is only a minor issue as the rice was only €2.50 extra and was perfectly cooked and filling. Still, overall it’s an easy 5/5 for the food and I would definitely recommend. Sorry I’ve no photos of the food, unfortunately it didn’t last long enough to get one
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. Food taste was not at all good. Thankfully we got saved bcoz of plastic bag, coz oil was literally leaking from the wrapped paper bags. Ordered garlic naan and aloochana, it was tasting like stale of last day. Staff attitude wasn't good.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. I was living in Carrigaline and it took more than an hour for the food to be delivered and was charged extra. The owner was rude and picked-up a fight when questioned about extra money for Delivery. Also, the quality of food was bad, it felt like I was eating tomato puree with cashew milk. The naan was thick and unchewable.
Awful Size portions ,ordered a chicken bhuna , absolutely tiny. Rip off.Food: 1/5
Food was excellent. Delivery was very quick and the delivery guy Aidan quite helpful. I live in an apartment and he explained the delivery drivers aren't insured to enter apartment blocks so I just went to the door. No hassle pick up. There should be more helpful drivers like this attached to takeaways. 5 for the driver as well.
If I could rate this place 0 I would. I placed an order for delivery which never showed up. Calling them endless times they kept on telling me the order is on the way and made up stories as the roads a blocked. Needless to say I believed them, waited and waited. Had they just said the order was lost / forgotten; no worries. But lying and wasting peoples time and money is just outrageous. Never again!!!!!!!
The food quality in Lal Quila is excellent. I devoured a sumptuous Chicken Jalfrezi with Pilau rice, which was perfectly balanced with spices and herbs and so very tasty. What impressed me most though was the helpfulness and courtesy of the driver who delivered the food. I live in an apartment block where delivery drivers cannot enter, due to insurance purposes. The driver, who said his name was Aidan, not alone went to the trouble of coming through the security barrier, he also brought the food to the door of the complex and patiently waited for me to come down from the upper floor. Drivers from other takeaways rarely wait, just drop and go. This delivery driver was so patient and helpful. He was also really good-humoured and sociable, qualities which are often absent among other drivers. The food quality from Lal Quila, the punctuality of the delivery and the helpfulness of Aidan, the driver, are the reasons I've rated this restaurant excellent on everything.
I just spent 13.50 on 6 pieces of chicken and sauce? Should AT LEAST come with an option of chips or rice
Very good quality food, fresh lamb bunah, absolutely delicious, I normally don’t give easy 5 stars rating but tonight dish wast top class. Not the best set up as takeaway but definitely worth the money if you love Indian food.
