Unfriendly untrustworthy feeling to the place as I came though the door. No one even acknowledged me as I stood there for at least 5 minutes. Finally got a table and sat there for another 30 minutes before service offered to take my order . Dips and popadum came. Dips where tasty but seemed like they had been on a journey and where not clean and fresh. Starter came it was awful. By the time the main came I had such a bitter taste in my mouth I couldn't rate it . Big portion but an odd taste of melted plastic. Won't be returning here. Very very disappointed.
Amazing food and friendly staff - service is a little slow but that's the only drawback, and the delicious food is worth the wait. Excellent vegetarian options. Aloo gobi is outstanding albeit very strongly oniony - maybe best shared between three!, and last time I was there, everyone at our table of 9 was beyond happy with their meal. Keem naan was *unreal*. Love going here!
Had an amazing Indian flavoured Chicken Handi. After a long gap we had that amazing taste. The staff in the restaurant was also well behaved and joined the restaurant few weeks back only. Definitely recommend for Indian flavours.
Was hesitant about calling when I saw the reviews but herself was mad for an Indian and it was the closest one we could find. Had a chicken tikka starter and vindaloo for main, was absolutely smashing, garlic naan was lovely as well… portions aren’t huge but was damn tasty
Used to love love love D’Mugals & always recommend to everyone, but ordered one of my usual take aways king prawn balti flavour was good not amazing, but got 5 prawns & 3 pieces of green pepper for €13:95 in a lot of sauce, won’t be recommending or ordering again
Fantastic food and the staff need there the sweetest boys and so hard working I recommend this as a place to Enjoy a good healthy meal
Take away food wasnt good, main course in small tray, very greasy, pilau rice looks like fried rice, found bone in main dish. Not recommended
Had a lovely meal here, read the mixed reviews but gave it a chance. The mixed starter wasn't the best, would have been better with different options. Had a mixed meat masala which was delicious, really tender meat. Lovely naan bread. Didn't think much of the poppadoms and dips, tasted slightly stale and sauces bland. Other than that worth the visit!
Alright food and friendly service, but jesus the wait for food is insane.
Very good food and good value too. Lovely smells when you walk in and friendly staff. I will be back.
