Absolutely brilliant business. I emailed them from Australia to organise an airport pick up for my mum and they made it so easy and a pleasure to use. Great communication throughout. Nice to have a friendly and reliable driver after a long flight who made my mum feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout. 5 stars
We called this number when we needed a cab immediately due to a train cancellation. A driver showed up right away to pick us up and take us to the next station to catch our connecting train. They were professional, courteous and responsive. Highly recommend!
Booked a cab for 6:00. The taxi didn't arrive. When I called them they said it would be 15 mins for one to arrive. I had a train at 6:40 to catch and I was going to miss it. A few minutes later they cancelled my cab. Do not use them if you have anything important to get to.
We booked a few days in advance for a mini bus for 6 there and then back after a wedding in the lakes. We were around 15 mins away from the venue, 10 minutes before our minibus was due to arrive, the company called to tell us they had cancelled our booking. We were then stuck at the venue until we could source another taxi company to get take us back on such short notice. Luckily Ace Taxis saved us and we got back to where we were staying fine after a little while. But it was a stressful end to such a lovely evening. Wouldn't recommend sorry.
Honestly, used to get taxis all the time but recently booking a taxi is a nightmare. I book on the app, and if I've booked it for work instead of phoning me and informing me they're busy they'll just cancel the booking so a lot of the time I haven't realised they've cancelled and so I'll be late for work. This has happened quite frequently, if they don't cancel the booking i am usually waiting a good half an hour for my taxi to arrive. I don't know what is happening but the service is going downhill fast.
Have used multiple times now. The drivers are lovely however they are often late / cancel last min. The app would be really good if the service was reliable
Shocking and appalling service. Taxi booked 48hrs in advance and reconfirmed several times for a fare of £18.00 arnside to Hincaster for a solo traveler. I reconfirmed the taxi once again from Manchester airport rail station to let them know no problems with train times. I never imagined the company would phone me an hour before arriving, whilst on the train to inform me the price would now be £50.00 if I still wanted a pick up! Totally DISHONEST and Appalling service. Just left me in the lurch knowing I had very little options available as a female solo traveller from abroad. Still can’t get over such awful customer service.
Absolutely shocking service - turned up at the wrong address then cancelled my booking. Left me and my family stuck, no apology advised to rebook - no cars available. Suggest you got to Bluestar always turn up in the right place when you need them. Avoid these guys like the plague.
Booked return taxi for New Year’s Eve Arrived promptly on time for both journeys. Very pleased
Booked a taxi for 2.15, didn't show up. When it finally did show up would refuse to come to correct/agreed address. Was incredible rude including guy on the phone! Refusing to sort situation ended up upsetting the kids as well! Terrible service
