DEAR LAKELAND IN DERBION MALL,DERBY. My name is Kelvin. Am Senior Nurse at Royal Derby,and a frequent client at your outlet when need be. Today I would wish to take this chance to pass my heartfelt gratitude to one of your staff, Madam Heather. And here is why. I have previously shopped at your outlet and usually, the best I get is distant stares and very minimal assistance even upon request, Assuming that am African from observation. But since my wife likes your products a lot. I am usually forced to come back often. Shockingly this AMAZING day I walked in as usual expecting the usual experience. And as I was trying to find a bunch of household items on a list I had from my dear wife, I heard a friendly soft voice from behind asking, "Hi, can I be of any assistance?". Honestly, I froze a little since I thought it wasn't meant for me. I acknowledged back, unsure if the employee was joking since I previously never had anyone volunteer or have much time even when I requested assistance . I explained what I was looking for and she took her time go through my list and show me what was available, and what she thought was good for me to her best knowledge. What even mesmerised me more was the fact she went the extra mile to explain her honest review from experience and other clients reviews, to a point she even had to open some of the utensils from the original box and show me what exactly I was purchasing . I was so excited and asked her what her name was. She said, Heather with a warm smile. As she continued to take me around finding my list of items needed. Honestly, I never felt so important and valued as a client . After my purchase of 867 Pounds Receipt attached for proof of this. She explained about a membership card the store has in case I would wish to return and earn points that get me discounts. I gladly said yes I was interested. She took my details and promised it would be delivered to my address soon. And with a genuine huge smile she thanked me for shopping and asked me to return back soon. Ohhhh Yes, the membership card got delivered with earned points from my previous purchase and I couldn't stop smiling . This kind of service is rare in many many outlets, where staff usually pretend to be busy chatting or wiping non-existence dirt, hoping you disappear as quickly as you got in. After many many years am glad, so glad I found one staff at your outlet who made me feel special and needed for once. I just couldn't stop telling my wife all about it. Kindly make sure you pass my heartful gratitude and appreciation to Madam Heather . Probably I think she can't remember me since I believe that's how she values all customers at the outlet. But all in all please please pass my regards as she made my shopping easy and homely . THANK YOU - THANK YOU !!!.
This is a great store very helpful staff I have a Lakeland kitchen aid which is a slicer and grater very fast onions carrots act done in no time A Lakeland grantee as well It is good to go when you have time to look for what you want as there is lot to to see new lines are due soon Online shopping as well If you join up with the loyty card you get good offers Worth going into store to see what you want i now have an ice cream maker It's great Lakeland's Happy customer

I like Lakeland as it has a varied selection of quality items that are just that bit different to other stores. Staff are friendly and helpful and Lakeland stock Soda Stream items which is a bonus.
Made to feel like a shoplifter staff follow you around and make you feel uneasy.
