Had a good day out, nice aquarium but small so you get around it quite quickly but you can grab a bite to eat and back in if you wanted to just keep hold of your ticket just incase. Price cost £30 for 2 adults and 1 toddler with a game of golf included. Has Cafe, gift shop and park at the back of the entrance
So much to see here. Bigger than we expected. Fish feeds from 12 noon onwards. Very educational. Theres a cafe, gift shop, cray golf, adventure park with a fun splash area. Good value if you pay for family entry ticket and get crazy golf thrown in with price. We were lucky enough to have great weather to take advantage of everything outside. Popular in the holidays.
Really enjoyed the aquarium yesterday! Greeted by a lovely young member of staff with beautiful blue hair. Every member of staff were polite, courteous and seemed happy to speak to me.nnAlthough it is a small aquarium, without a tunnel like some I've been to, I really enjoyed my visit.nnWith our ticket, 2 adults, 1 kid £34 we also got a free game of mini golf which we thoroughly enjoyed.nnI've attached a few photos I took yesterday.
Not only is Maryport Aquarium a great local attraction, I would honestly say it's one of the best I have EVER been to.nnThere is a great range of aquatic life from sticklebacks to lion fish, sea anemones to an octopus.nnThere is a genuine focus on the welfare of the exhibits and the staff are both knowledgeable and very enthusiastic.nnTreat yourself to a surprisingly good regional attraction.
A nice little aquarium, with a visit, had a decent adventure play area and minigolf attached to it aswell. mini golf needs updating, adventure play is great.nCafe is good, tea/cakes etc are great, but we felt the pressure to leave even with 30 mins until closing.
