We called here while hiking into Keswick. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Not much to say really... It's a stone circle. There was an ice-cream van parked just on the road :) Some amazing views around here.

This place is worth a visit. Unfortunately we visited on a windy & rainy day, but we still managed to see the stone circle and take some photos. This would be much nicer in the sun. Early morning or at sunset would make for spectacular photos. I would plan to spend about 15 minutes to 30 minutes here unless you were to have a picnic.

A beautiful place to visit when you're in The Lakes. Historical stone circle from 4500 years ago, with mountains all around as far as the eye can see. A peaceful place to stretch your legs before the long journey home, as was my case. It was snowing when we last came here, magical. Not far from the town of Keswick.

Short walk from Keswick that’s not to strenuous. Once there the stone circle is located in a secure field so children and dogs can play safely. The views of surround hills and mountains make this a beautiful spot for a picnic lunch. Recommended.

This has to be one of my favourite of the Stone circles in Cumbria. It's popular and a tourist attraction for very good reason! The circle is surrounded by some of the Lake Districts most powerful and beautiful hills. Sunsets are a magical experience here! Highly recommend!
