First class garden centre, well stocked with quality plants. Great range of gardening equipment, feeds and chemicals for plants and lawns. Very popular restaurant with an extensive range of meals, delicious puddings and cakes. So many options for gifts and food from the shop. The choice is endless with quality shining through. So big a map would be helpful to find ones way around! Plenty of parking too.
OK, expensive for plants, clothes outlets not too bad price wise. Can't really comment on food only had scone and coffee it was lovely and cost not too bad. Overall all your garden needs in one place, but costs high.
The best garden centre around, and great little areasto explore, with different landscape and architectural features. Not your usual tables and beds of plants centre.
A very nice well presented garden centre with a variety of items on sale. It perhaps has more ornament and garden/house paraphernalia than it does a full range of plant/allotment type items as the plant section is smaller than the building and its internal sale items but that said there's plenty for everyone's taste and worth exploring it all. The cafe is probably the best garden centre cafe I've been to, great cakes and awesome pies! I'd drop in again just for the cafe! Well worth a visit if in the area.
I don't get to visit here very often since I don't drive. This time I got to go with some friends, and we bought lots of lovely plants! The atmosphere is great here, the plants are beautiful and well organised. This is more than just a garden centre. It's a destination. They have great food here, lovely household wares, a few clothes even and a small range of high-quality jams and sweets. Good for a quiet morning out without the kids.
Wanted to purchase a waterfall feature for £400 and asked if there was a delivery charge which there was of £10 I asked Duty manager if you could waive the £10 as I only live local down the road which they weren’t prepared to do so, therefore I didn’t Purchase the item I was told this company policy. I also contacted the Head Office which is now nearly over a fortnight ago which I have not received any comeback which doesn’t say very much for the company question
This was a chance discovery when looking to go for lunch after visiting Crosby Beach. What a wonderful garden centre that is so much more. An amazing gift shop packed full of amazing things you need to have or are wonderful presents. We found the restaurant, a very helpful lady got us a menu as I was with a person with mobility issues. I was able to order at the counter where very helpful staff were on hand. We choose fishfinger sandwich and tuna and cheese toasty with chips along with cold orchard fruit sparking drink. It didn't take long for our food to arrive which was really good. There is a wonderful seating area to eat outside in a beautiful garden setting. Meandering paths take you around the outdoor plant selection which are beautifully displayed. There is also a lake and a tranquil japanese pond. We look forward to returning soon.
Lovely little garden centre on the outskirts of Liverpool which is now back to its best. Wide range of plants, knowledgeable staff, and good value too. Cafe has improved.
I was surprised at how big this place is. There is so much choice and the whole store is kept in really good order. The plants are looked after, and the condition is excellent. It's a bit pricey, but I think you get what you pay for. The flora and fauna are amazing. It so big you could spend the day there and they have a duck lake.....honestly. a great place , well worth a visit.
Warm jacket potato with hardly any tuna, coffee poured while still 3 customers in front of me therefore cold by the time I got to drink it, definitely not good value. Staff very nice, and comfortable, pleasant surroundings
