Excellent place to go for a top quality professional massage. The treatment rooms and relaxation lounge are impressive, very well designed and laid out . The atmosphere is conducive for relaxation and well being. Verna is a great massage therapist, and unlike a lot of spa therapists who seem to just lightly stroke you, applies just the right amount of pressure for what she is faced with. You know you are getting a quality massage that is helping. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Verna at La Vie Spa if you ever find yourself near Portland. If I am ever nearby again I will be back .

I had my back waxed for the first time in August before I went on holiday and was slightly nervous before hand, thinking it was going to hurt..... It didn't Verna was really lovely and gentle, the waxing was painless and afterwards my skin felt amazing. Going back next month to have it done again.
