Really rude and unfriendly. Just got a couple of takeaway coffees and found the whole exchange pretty depressing. It doesn’t hurt to smile and sarcastic remarks in response to a customer being friendly just feels like a kick in the teeth. The coffee was fine, but I definitely won’t go back.
Waitress/owner please smile. You didn’t exactly make us feel welcome. Maybe it’s your resting grumpy face, but honestly a welcoming smile makes such a difference. The coffee was nice, liked the chocolate chips rather than powder. The French toast was lovely .

I would agree with Ahmed about the atmosphere. The owner had ill humour when correcting mistakes made on our bill. No apology even insisted on charging us for food we were told when ordering was included. The coffee was good but the service not good. I wouldn't return. Two stars is mainly the good coffee.
Great local deli worth an interesting selection of fine foods, as well as the fresh stuff you'd expect from a cafe. Could maybe have a wider selection of sandwiches, etc., but what they do have is great.

Great little place! Freshly made sandwiches, cakes and excellent coffee. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Good coffee and food but small inside, a bit cramped, and no customer toilet. Best enjoyed on a sunny day as it has outdoor seating. Also sells an interesting range of cards and deli items.
