La Porchetta Pollo Bar in Soho offers a classic Italian experience with hearty portions and great value. The menu is filled with traditional pizzas, pastas, and desserts like tiramisu. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a welcoming spot, though some dishes can vary in quality. Great for casual dining! Food: 4/5
What a great place to go! We had pizza and pasta and it was amazing, the pasta was a really huge portion size and very tasty we had the carbonara our pizzas were top notch. Great vibes at this restaurant and the staff is amazing. Absolutely recommended! Vegetarian options: Many options Parking: Very difficult Kid-friendliness: Super Wheelchair accessibility: A bit difficult but possible on ground floor
It should have been a five star instead of a four. Had to queue for around 20mins on a Saturday night, that’s not too bad for a Saturday night in central London. The pizza was amazingly fresh and delicious, very flavourful and the dough was easy to bite. Risotto was a bit bland, but it was alright after I added pepper and salt. Overall the biggest plus point of the food is the portion and price. The pizza is £12, and Rissoto is £13.50. Now, we were given seats at the basement which had no phone signal at all. Saw they they did have wifi connection but staff refused to give us the password. Personally i understand why they may not want the customers to have the wifi but it was quite disappointing as I urgently needed the wifi for a few quick emails. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, but just have your expectation that this is a four star instead of five.
While on our way to a restaurant elsewhere we came across this place which had people queued outside - waiting to be seated and it had a nice vibe to itself and the ambiance is very quirky. Managed by Italians, this place is very nice for pasta and their plate sizes have good portions. We ordered 5 different main dishes and 1 starters: 1 garlic bread - this was like a pizza but with no cheese and was not very tasty! 2 Insalata Di Pollo Grilled Chicken Breast salad - one of the most heaviest chicken salad i have had; the chicken was slightly grilled to its dry end but the plate size was humongous!! Loved it. 3 LINGUINE CREMA FUNGHI E TARTUFO - lovely pasta with cream , mushroom and truffle paste with extra cheese on top, grated at the table! Very authentic and delicious. 3 TAGLIATELLE SALMONE - salmon based pasta 4 mixed sea food Pasta which also was nice as well In addition, for drinks, 2 in our group had a small bottle of red wine and a negroni as well. The bill wasn’t bad and for 4 people was around £85/-
Amazing Italian food customer service is really fun and I love their Italian I wish I can have the playlist And the food is super tasty. I enjoyed the desert and the guy with the beard is very funny. Sweet my friend really likes him. Next time we have vacation in the UK, we will be coming back to this restaurant.
Smashing little Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho. Food came out quick and was delicious. Buratta salad and a pizza did the two of us nicely. Super close to the theatres too, if you’re looking to fill up before a show.Food: 4/5
We have been in London for two days only and we came twice to this Italian restaurant. Besides the best food , they have the best staff. Try the lasagna , the spaghetti … the pizzas of coirse. Lucca, Luigi and Luna - if you are in soho , you can skip the musical and come see these guys.
Great food, huge portions. Great prices, especially for London. Friendly and accommodating staff!Food: 5/5
Very affordable Italian food in soho area. Portion of dishes are big, we packed to takeaway at the end of meal. Staff are nice and friendly as well:Food: 5/5
A friend was recommended this place by an Italian person and honestly I’m glad we went for this recommendation, the pizza was amazing and we got this prawn dish that we finished in an instant as it was that good. We for so full from the pizza and starters that we couldn’t even finish the pasta we got to share. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was lively, you can tell they had a lot of regulars, if ppl are coming back it’s saying something right. Great value for money too
