An evening family meal in the comfortable surroundings of Amalfi Ristorante. Good large portion of Calamari to start and a decent Seafood Risotto as a main with a nice Sauvignon Blanc. Very friendly and efficient service that didn't rush us on a busy evening. A lovely spot a stones throw from Oxford Circus that beats the standard chain alternatives that can feel a little generic.
A cozy place to eat around Oxford Circus. The chicken and desserts are *chef's kiss* Abby was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back/recommend to friends.Food: 5/5
Food tasted amazing, however upon my visit the service was very slow and nobody was checking upon tables and the food although it tasted amazing, was cold/warm and I would argue the pizza could have seen the pizza oven longer. But I would give it the benefit of the doubt to try again to see if this improves.Food: 4/5
Terrible dough for an Italian place! A bit burnt too. Padron peppers are tasteless. Lemon sole is overcooked. The area is so loud with the bin van coming in while eating. Food and drinks took 40min to come! Never again and would not recommend. They think everyone’s a tourist with no taste.
I have come to this restaurant several times and each time the experience is immaculate. We are seated within seconds and the atmosphere is fantastic. Staff are incredibly friendly and very attentive. Drinks are excellent and the food is superb. Big shout out to Luciano and Thiago both amazing waiters and deliver great service. Will definitely be coming again!! Came back again and the drinks made by Ali were fantastic!!! Best Sorrento Spritz I have ever had! Will be back!
We had the best time there the food was excellent the coffee was delicious, the service is on point thanks to Luciano and Thiago they were very nice and welcoming
------ATMOSPHERE------ Soho in London is incredibly crowded most days so it is nearly impossible to be able to walk into a restaurant and be seated right away. We spotted Amalfi and decided to ask anyways. They were able to seat 3 of us right away! The inside is chic and the upstairs is even better. There are live plants hanging and it looks upscale inside. My only complaint is that the bathroom was not clean at all. ------FOOD & DRINKS------ Amalfi Lemonade - Tangy and salty. It was good and I would recommend this to everyone Pea Risotto - It was not bad but just tasted like warm mushed peas. I would have liked if there was more flavor. The portions are big. ------PRICE------ My total came out to around 17 USD which is reasonable for a meal out in Soho London
Lovely place for pre theatre dining just across the road from theatre. The cocktails were amazing mixed with generous alcohol. We were served by Luciano who was attentive and provided a fantastic service. Luciano mentioned that he usually works the same shift as Thiago who he introduced us to. Overall, the food and service was excellent and I would definitely return again.
We went there spontaneously as it looked good, clean, new and modern. The interior is pleasant, the food is not. I ordered a medium cooked steak and got it well done, see the picture. The waiter told me it is how they cook medium. Disappointed.
Linguine lacked flavour. Olives were very strong in flavour. Kids pizza was better. Service was slow.
