In two minds about posting this review as it is so amazing I don't want everyone else to know about it. Myself and my family have been coming here for about two years and the quality of the food is spectacular. The mozzarella dough balls are addictive. Cocktails are heavenly and I like the way the staff always talk to the children, instead of waiting for their parents to speak for them. They have occasional theme nights like family magic and live music acts which is nice for something different. I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world and I am really fussy but have never had a mediocre meal at La Corte.

The atmosphere is good. The staff are generally nice. There are good cocktails and drinks on offer. The food just let's this place down though. For a restaurant of this calibre, reputation and price, it just isn't up to it. Within 20 min drive there are far better Italians. I'm not saying it's terrible, I've just never left impressed. I go because it's handy and don't need to drive home but often I wish I'd driven somewhere better and not had a drink. On each visit it seems to get worse, not better. I really want to like this place but just can't.

What a lovely night we had! My husband, our daughter and myself are staying in Leyland for a week at a local hotel and wanted to eat out and went here. The staff are so friendly and really entertained out 6 year old and made us all feel welcomed and the food was Amazing!! The Red wine was served at a lovely temperature and was so smooth. We are only here for a week but we will be back before we go home! Thanks for a lovely evening La Corte

Food was good. But £19.90 for an ordinary bottle of Chardonnay was expensive. The comedy night after the meal was nothing short of awful. Will not be recommending the comedy night to anyone.
