Busy but beautiful - the pot of camomile tea we had was 'proper' and they even do rose leaves as well as Earl Gray, to name a few! The outdoor seating is lovely and a good option for summer. Good meet place!
I have been many time here. They do this amazing deal for coffees and Super delicious home made Cakes, also freshly made delicious sandwiches and my favourite of all time and highly recommended is the beef pastrami, cheddar with mustard and gherkins, chutney is simply AMAZNG .. staff are super friendly and chatty . Over all this place is one of my favourite and highly recommend to check it out if you happen to be round ..
Nice place....Good vibe and nicely done with antiquish cups and cutlery etc. Coffee pretty good. Bacon ciabatta is big; so the limited volume of bacon gets spread out. But tasty non the less. Cakes and scones look awesome. We had a lovely waitress who was super attentive and lovely. Freshly squeezed orange juice is available and delicious.
Nice cafe in a beautiful corner at the busy area of West End. Food is very good with a selection of sandwiches and bruchettas although I couldn't find any option to add eggs. Outdoor and indoor seating.Food: 4/5
Lovely cafe, nice food and coffee and inexpensive. Breakfast and brunch options plus a great selection of cakes. I had a salmon bagel which came with a salad, very nice! Service was good even though the place was super busy.
It’s a bit busy, but the food and drinks are worth it. The price is reasonable. It was raining and the outside was not really prepared for the Scottish weather, but it was fun The waitresses were really nice. I’m definitely coming back! The inside looks amazing so I hope I can sit there next time.
Terrible. Spilled drinks, no napkins to clean the cups or saucers they are on. No new drinks offered for spilling a quarter of the cups. Is this not the very minimum of your service? Might as well stay at home or go to a greasy spoon.
Lovely atmosphere, good coffee and amazing range of delicious homemade cakes - love this place!
On a lazy rainy monday morning, Kothel was the best place with excellent food and ambience to pump our energies to start work. A wide range of Mediterranean food and confectionery. Soft light music in the background makes this place soothing.. we had heavy brunch comprising of Ciabatta, brownies and Caramel Latte. Ofcourse we were making the most out of the eat out scheme.. amd paid only 7 gbp each for this hearty brunch. Do visit them if in Glasgow!
Eating outside in the sun was reminiscent of eating out abroad. After looking at the menu my husband had the Spanokopita with side salad and bread and as there was no vegetable pasta available I settled for the stuffed pepper. Have to say that even though the tables were busy that the service was quick and polite. We also ordered a cappuccino and a flat white coffee to accompany the meal. I was "stuffed" with the stuffed pepper and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. Along with the 2 coffees it was very reasonable at £21.30. Will return at a later date.
