Around £12 for sweet and sour chicken “small”, vegetable dumplings, a bottle of water and a table. POSITIVES: Staff are friendly enough. Seems to be open later than many of the places within the vicinity. The “small” portion was big. Bit too much sauce for my liking, but better than expected. Comparable to hot food in somewhere like Wasabi. NEGATIVES: Wall was filthy. Floor was sticky. The dumplings were pretty nondescript. They should put on some quiet background music... was a little depressing when empty and only the hum of the fan. May give them another star if they did some of the basics better - a solid 4 if they fixed those things and provided decent wifi! There is also a better place if you head towards Bromley South station...

Decent food, good-sized portions for a reasonable price. It's not going to knock your socks off but it does what it does well. I'm a repeat customer and will go again.

Good portions and the meat sauces are all quite nice. Staff are friendly, and sitting comfortable. The main downside is the rice, very overcooked and mushy. Some of the sushi is plain and favourless at times and lacking atmosphere; But overall a good place to eat.

Got takeaways from here several times. Good size portions and consistently good quality. Could do with more than just one veggie option.

Kokoro is actually pretty good. Especially given the options around/available. Food is fresh and overall delicious. Some of the fridge items can be hit or miss, but that has yet to turn me off from it. The downsides are... they're awfully slow. Sometimes it feels that they're surprised, on a daily basis, that there's a lunch rush. They haven't figured out how to prepare for it correctly or aptly and have a tendency to run out of rice and noodles. More often than not, I'd order something to-go and people after me with an order 3 times larger manage to get it and get out. As for the pricing, I feel that pretty much everything is about 1GBP too expensive. Biggest recommendation is the seaweed salad, chicken katsu curry and sweet chili chicken.
