Yeah, I liked this pub. It is a traditional boozer with a pool table and TVs showing three different channels, so if you're not into one you can watch another. A selection of beer and lager. Karaoke on Thursdays. Bar food is toasties.
Nice place with very pleasant staff and plenty of football tv options and a serious pool team
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a true community feeling on a weekend, especially if there's an event such as a karaoke night or a concert. You can also watch most sports channels there. Reasonable prices, great cold pints! Much recommended.
As an English man being made welcome was more than I was expecting pints are reasonable priced and nice and cheerful place

Thanks to the great staff who helped to make Alex and Johns Birthday that bit more special. Special thanks to Claire for making sure we were all topped up while keeping the food topped for us. The regulars were great even though we commandeered their seats Alex never stopped smiling the whole day with his former bar staff, darts team and loyal friends. Thanks Kitty, you did yourself proud AGAIN
From the outside it looks like a bit of a dive but inside you'll find a very comfortable, pretty cheap pub with a pool table, friendly staff and nicer toilets than you'll find in most bars across the city. Overall I was very pleasantly surprised and will be back again soon.
Apart from the pints going through the roof that day and now playing host to the Butchers Arms I wont be dwinking in there apart from when I have to play Butchers Arms
Went to see a band play there . Really great atmosphere and the bar staff were superxefficient and friendly...
