Friendly bar staff. Wide selection of drinks, wine and cocktails. Restricted food servings-cold sharing platters. Cheese platter was tasty. DJ music during evening - not too noisy did not drown out our conversation. Fairly busy with customers throughout the evening. Visit recommended.
Recently taken over and renovated. Drinks selection has reduced, but still decent. The acoustics are terrible, they need some sound dampening as it's incredibly noisy, impossible to have a quiet conversation if there's more than a few tables in. Toilets are much nicer than before though!
Friendly Staff, good food and cocktails. Recommended
Classic bar. Been going for 30 years. Great refurb update. Friendly staff and locals.
Managed to get a last minute pre theatre booking. Food and service great, definitely recommend. Fab cocktails too
New and improved since being taken over. Staff and drinks selection are still excellent. The ambience is much the same except it's cosier and softer. The dank alcove now stores wine and the seats are more comfortable. There is a snack menu which looks really delicious, too. Will definitely come back. It's really pleasing to see somewhere refurbished for the better without forgetting what was good about the place before.
Lovely food and the staff are really nice and helpful. Good choice of beers and spirits.
Very cute, little bar, hidden away, located literally underground. Very good choice of cocktails, friendly staff and good music. Definitely better option to spend your time then next door, which is showing football
The place has lost its charm since the refurbishment. Ordered two cocktails one which is a classic and the other was the bartenders choice both were disappointing.
Great place for a quiet drink.
