"Kirton in Lindsey Town Council based in North Lincolnshire is the first tier of local government and the statutory body for Kirton in Lindsey. It serves electorates and Councillors are independently elected. The Council notifies its own precept a form of council tax to North Lincolnshire Council via budget planning on an annual basis. Local councils work towards improving community well-being and providing better services. Activities fall into three main categories: representing the local community; delivering services to meet local need and; striving to improve quality of life and community well-being.The Town Council employs two part staff, the Town Clerk and Assistant Clerk with the office open to the public on Tuesdays & Thursdays."
