We stayed here for one night on the way to Skye and absolutely loved this place! The house,garden and surroundings are all beautiful. The owner is so lovely and friendly and we really liked seeing her art work on the walls. We even got to take their amazing dog woody out for a walk. I would definitely recommend this place and would re visit for sure.

A lovely comfortable stay in this beautiful house. Tranquil, romantic  setting and an ideal place to relax, well furnished and oozing with character. Gorgeous artwork throughout this lovely home and a super choice of literature available for guests with more time than us! Very pleasant and friendly proprietress provided a fine breakfast at the time of our choosing and was helpful and informative. An extra star for the resident labrador, Woody, who narrowly escaped being stolen when we left. Thankyou Sheena, I remain extremely jealous.

The peace and beauty of Galloway is here all around Kirk house. Rooms are homely and comfortable and the whole house has a welcoming feel to it. You'll love staying here!
