The Sunday roasts were excellent. The whole roast chicken for two, with yorkshires and multiple veg was huge and tasty. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely go back another day of the week, to try the main menu.

Nice pub. Pretty busy on a Saturday night but lots of space in the restaurant. Food very good.

First visit to the pub, the decor was beautifully festive and the food was great. We were really let down by the service which was disappointing as we were the first table there. We had to ask where our drinks were, ask how long our food would be and wait a long time throughout. We were also told that the specials menu and the burgers were sold out but we saw several other people with these food options. As a table of 7 in a mostly empty pub I can’t understand why the service was so poor on this occasion.
Lovely pub, food was great and delicious, nice beers and the service was excellent. I loved the deco, the atmosphere and we'll definitely go back again.
Very good food, and the waitress was great. But the hostess was very rude and made us feel unwelcome. We had asked the waitress if we could relocate to another, smaller table, which she kindly allowed. I also needed a different chair. We then saw the hostess chewing out the waitress for all to see. Then the hostess chewed US out for changing tables and chairs, explaining how much we inconvenienced her. She did that THREE times, each time ended with, "but it's OK." Made it difficult to enjoy the outstanding food.
Went for a meal with two friends, restaurant was empty when we arrived. Very disappointed when neither my first choice, the Lemon Sole on the regular menu or my second choice, the Pan Seared Sea Bream on the 'Specials' board where not available. Had to settle for a third choice which was not really what I wanted. Rest of the food was good but not sure if I would make a return visit.
Food was very good. The fish had lovely crispy batter. Deserts were good. My wife says that there should have been more vegetables with her dish.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed. It was a large group birthday celebration and although some of the meals were OK. The majority were not. Smaller than average portions and the turkey roast was dry and chalky. Service slow but friendly. Waited almost an hour for each course. Very limited kids menu. such a shame. Will not be returning anytime soon.
