Stumbled across the Orange tree by accident whilst out on my motorbike with a mate.nCouldn't get into the Bluebird as it was heaving, no tables and very noisy so when we spotted the Orange tree we hit the jackpot, nice calm spacious and 5 star food & service.nCan't recommend it enough, will definitely come again next time I'm in the area.
Usually go for breakfast which is excellent. However, today had lunch,vreally disappoing coronation chicken sandwich. Would be nice to get a pot of tea so can top up but only get quite a small cup which iscquickly gone then have to pay for another cup.
We’ve been going to this venue for many years. More recently it has become quite expensive similarly as other places have. Service is usually good. The food seems generally fine. However, today one of us had a slice of chocolate salted caramel cake £4.50, which was so full of sugar it was inedible and had to be left. Baked potatoes are invariably good as are sandwiches. A cup of coffee has become very expensive.
First time here today for a quick breakfast with daughter.nGood food, good price , friendly staff and quick service.nWell done!nLooking forward to trying a beer in the evening some time.
Love this place, it's fun being able to order from the kitchen outside and eat inside with drinks ordered from the bar. It creates a lovely fun atmosphere and is a bit different. Definitely recommend. We had the nicest, poshest chicken burgers!
