Popped in for sunday lunch and had a warm welcome on arrival. Given a choice of 3 meats and ordered drinks. Food came out promptly and hot with 5 veg, Yorkshire and loads of meat. Plate was piled high! Very tasty and enjoyable. Only two Choices for desert but the chocolate brownie I had was excellent. Really good value in a quiet locals pub
Good service, good food, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Food described as " Italian Inspired" and lived up to that description. Fresh specials duck pate especially excellent. Front of house spent time helping us make our selection. Well worth a visit.
Disappointing. Staff is not very friendly and the food was very disappointing. A fresh meat platter was rather dry, the mozzarella had clearly been out all day and the roast was clearly not home cooked, the gravy was from granulates and very salty.
Took visiting friends from Australia and very disappointing. Sunday lunch described as being served 'with all the trimmings' but the pork had no crackling, the vegetables were cold, the yorkshire pudding tasted of old oil, and the service was lacking. Wouldn't recommend it or return to it.
Lovely place. Yummy mulled wine and delightful staff. Didn't have any food but smelled amazing
Great Sunday lunch. Service good food portions were excellent. All in all a very nice experience, will return.
Proper priced pub. Nice open fire, friendly barman and also locals. Good place for a quiet chat.
Amazing value for money, we had the business lunch. Huge portions and very tasty food.
Great breakfast, friendly bar staff , lovely little pub with a sunny beer garden.
"Best pub in town" apparently, but the only beer it had on was bloody Doom Bar and not even anything decent in bottles or keg. Not impressed
