Fantastic service, friendly and accommodating, lovely local pub with a fantastic menu that caters for vegans. We especially loved the rack of ribs and hollumi burger. Well worth a visit, we look forward to visiting again!
A very well kept old traditional pub. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. Sunday roast was outstanding. One for the list of the best pubs I've ever been to.
Lovely village pub with great owners and staff - from original booking to dining, a very speedy service e.g. responded to booking request super quickly, never felt like you had to wait to order. Nice menu with some varying specials too, everything that came out of the kitchen smelt great! I had a battered Mars Bar for dessert, because when do you ever see that on the menu - sweet, chewy heaven. Drinks are very reasonably priced and good quality food and service. They are also doing very well to be Covid secure, a small pub, with well spaced out tables, felt very safe and would highly recommend if you are in the area.
Great real ale pub and friendly staff
Having been around a bit, I can safely say that this is a wonderful pub with a great clientele.
We visited 4 times over a couple of weeks...firstly with a family of 6 on Friday and Saturday evening, then a family of 3 for Sunday lunch and hen with my Father for Sunday lunch. It's a nice pub and popular with the locals so it was a bit busy and noisy on the Saturday night. Dog friendly in the bar area and they managed to fit us in with fairly short notice on two of our bookings. The food was excellent on all occasions and very reasonably priced. The menu is fairly limited but we eat most things so it wasn't a problem. Wine was reasonable too. We ate later on the second Sunday roast and I'd advise an earlier table as the food was better first time round. The staff and lovely...very friendly and helpful. It's our new local when on holiday in the area

Meet all expectations, if you're looking for a traditional Pub, with friendly and welcoming atmosphere then you'll find at the King's Arms, local Cider is a must try, so is their dishes!
What a fantastic place. 10 of us visiting from Dorset, pub in the village we're staying in doesn't serve food anymore. No panic, the landlord of this lovely pub came with a minibus, collected us,fed us and returned us back to our holiday cottage. The food was out of this world, the young ladies waiting on us were brilliant and all at a very good price. Great night, lovely people, fab place. Would definitely recommend
