My annual visit to Kingfisher Lake was as good as usual. The water quality was excellent and the fish in splendid condition. Plenty of surface action made the fishing really interesting. My next visit will be sooner than the last even though other venues are closer to me.

Fished at Kingfisher today and I can't compliment the place enough. Christine is so welcoming and is always on hand with a coffee or two. The lake itself is stunning, you can tell that a lot of hard work goes into maintaining it this way. Fishing was excellent, as was the fish. I was spoilt though as I had the lake to myself for the day and managed 14 trout and a C+R ticket. For anyone who's contemplating visiting, all I say is don't hesitate to call in. You won't find a better, friendlier place to fish for many miles. They have definitely gained another regular!

Just got home from an excellent mornings fishing . Sun was shining brightly and temperature was hot so was wondering what it would be fishing like , I need not of worried two lovely fish within 2 and a half hrs with lots of missed takes as well ! Christine was lovely as always and is always on hand for advice and a cup of tea . Kingfisher is a beautiful spot and as close to heaven on earth as you'll find , do yourself a favour if you like fly fishing you'll love this place , I cannot believe there was only myself and one other chap fishing , maybe the bright conditions put people off ? Anyway you won't here me complaining all the more fish for me !!! :-) Thanks for yet another great day il be back very soon :-)

Had a good day fishing even though I don't catch anything paid £26:00 for 4 fish ticket what spoilt it was some people throwing sticks into the lake so there dogs would jump in no consideration for the anglers plus standing around watching their dogs mess and not picking it up would have been nice if I was offered some of my payment back but will be going back to try again.
