An absolute Gem in a beautiful location, there are fish to be caught that I personally was unable to find but the breakfast hands down was the best fishery breakfast I have ever had and consider myself a sausage connoisseur. Also it makes a change to have a proper coffee on a cold January day. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I cannot recommend this fishery enough! Well worth a visit.
A wonderful and well- stocked trout fishery. However, the trout here don't normally just give themselves up. You do have to fish for them. Experimenting with different flies and methods is key to a great day at Kingfisher.
What a gem of a cafe. Went with a group of 7, all hungry. All food cooked fresh and beautifully organised to be delivered to the table together.. Breakfast was fabulous and tasty, bacon was the best. Generous helpings. Lovely people. I'm told the fishings good too.
I have visited the cafe on 4 occasions and felt that I now must share my views about what a wonderful hidden gem the place is - because it almost makes you want to keep it a secret ! Set in stunning Herefordshire countryside far from the madding crowd, the cafe is unassuming but clean and tidy with views over the fishing lake and rolling hills beyond. You are made to feel welcome straight away. The ingredients used are of the highest quality, delicious and where possible are locally sourced. The food is cooked freshly to order by Christine who certainly knows how to make a great breakfast! So far I have only sampled the small breakfast it is very good They offer small or large breakfasts - but the small in my opinion is plenty for anybody with a reasonable appetite. I haven't tried any of the fabulous looking freshly made cakes which are on display as I am too full after my breakfast! I would thoroughly recommend and encourage you to try this place if you want something unique with a friendly and relaxed atmoshphere with great food. I will certainly be returning to try some more of the items of the menu, the soups sound great! Oh and they offer fishing too!!
i had the pleasure of visting this lake yesterday and spending most of the day there and all i can say is WOW what a fantastic lake good selection of fish there beween all of us we had over 20 fish all various sizes and all good fighting fish at this lake and the breakfast was amazing really nice i would like to thank the owners for their help throughout the day and i must say im disapointed i have not found this lake sooner me and my friends had a fantastic day there and will definatly be going back there to have a great days fishing thanks to the owners for making us feel welcome ;-
Fantastic location, great fishing. The nicest breakfast and home made cake that I have ever had at any fishery! Definitely one to go back to.

I have fished this lovely family run lake often and the owners have always been friendly and very helpful. The fishing very well balanced between hard enough to offer a challenge and stocking to offer hope to the less experienced. Last evening my partner and I took advantage of the camping. What a wonderful spot to enjoy the peace of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Highly recommended!

Fantastic freshly cooked to order full English breakfast. Delicious and locally sourced and the coffee is delicious too. Great value for money.
