I have been waiting for more than 2 months for a referral to a specialist and each time, reception said different story: my referral is not done, it's lost, has been found again but don't have a clue why it's not done yet, the GP forgot to book time to make the referral etc. Since September, I have been there three times and they still don't have a clue what's wrong with my referral. Very unprofessional! Very dissapointed! You deserve less than 1 star.
The reception team is very helpful and nice, and the gp's that I spoke to so far were very professional and made an impression that they actually cared which made a big difference compared to some of my previous experiences. The nurse that I've just seen for a blood test was also amazing, she has really good skills, I barely even felt the needle go in! Overall pretty amazing team, very happy with my experience so far.
The service I get from the surgery is normally very good. I always manage to speak to reception and normally get an appointment to see a doctor the same day. The call back service is a great addition to the surgery. The only reason why I haven't given 5 stars is because of the recent changes to the online service/ prescription ordering system. I design software as a profession and even I found it confusing to navigate the 3 systems that they have for various online services. There is definitely room for improvement there to streamline things and make it more accessible for patients to navigate their online services.
Impossible to get an appointment even when its urgent. Not only it’s hard to get through on the phone, but the apps do not work properly. And if you finally manage to speak to reception they “interrogate” you and try hard not to give you the appointment. Gives a feeling that they are just trying to get rid of you by giving stupid suggestions they call “advice” without knowing the details of your case. Since when seeing a GP is such a privilege? One of the worst surgeries I ever been to.
Never seem to get appointments as the staff are unreachable. Couple of times had to book an appointment for my toddler but dint have any availability for any of the days.nNon existent for us as the only option we have is to go to urgent care for non urgent needs at times.
