Nice pub to visit, Xmas eve had live music really good atmosphere. Spent a few hours there with a group and we all had a really good time. Will definitely be going back.Service: 4/5
had a wonderfull food, chicken items was awsome
Absolutely brilliant! The place had a nice atmosphere and the team were immediately friendly and very welcoming. There was a good selection of dishes on the menu to the point of us all having several choices that we were trying to pick between. The prices were also very reasonable. Once we had ordered the kids went outside to the play area. It's great when they can play and burn off sone energy whilst waiting for the food. When our meals arrived they looked great and better still it tasted great. The portions were generous and everybody cleared their plates. The children's meals were also great value and they wiped their plates! I can honestly say it was a delicious meal that we thoroughly enjoyed. Desert was equally good. To summarise; good menu, delicious food, great staff, reasonable prices and a lovely establishment. I do recommend and we are going back tonight.
Just a meal for me and my wife made to feel very welcome absolutely value for money 2 starters and 2 mains mine was the t-bone 33.90 for all and it was perfect in every way highly recommended. It was made special as it was also our 25th wedding anniversary as well. Well worth the visit. Would give it more than 5 stars.
Went for my mum's birthday and all 6 of us had a carvery. Great selection of food, all hot and tasty... Puddings were yummy too and great choice... Staff were really attentive and friendly, price was unbelievable, so reasonably priced... Well done Kingfisher...
Great food and exceptional service and the price is right and the empty plates say it all
The best Sunday carvery I have had and I have tried them all. The best value for money and the choice of meats and veg is second to none. I have paid £9 or even £10 for worse selections. You realy have to try it for yourself. Sometimes you will have to book if you want to sit in the restarant, but they have a big bar area withe seating reserved for diners. All this and live entertainment....
We've visited here several times and have always had a lovely Sunday Carvery. There is so much choice of meat and vegetables, and other dishes such as meat pie and toad in the hole. Staff are friendly and helpful and it is very good value. There is often live entertainment on too.
Turned up and it was carvery only, nobody told us when we booked the table and we had to wait an hour to be seated and once we were seated it felt like they wanted us to finish up quickly so they could get the next party in that also waited about an hour. There was also live music going on which was too loud and a lot of drunk old people, I wouldn't recommend going.
It's hard work to find but with the satnav was OK. It's well worth the effort. On a Sunday If you don't book you won't get in. It's busy every night because it's food is very good as in 5 star. It's price is a sigh of relief. When you go you Won't be disappointed.
