Whilst on holiday and looking for dog friendly pubs the King William came up a Google search so thought we would give it a go. Very warm welcome for ourselves and our dogs one of which is very nervous. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome.
Formerly was The Troll Cart. Has had major revamp and looks fantastic. Modern and fresh looking with beer garden and hotel. Would definitely come back. The food was lovely and although it was very busy we didn't have to wait too long.

Great wee traditional pub. Excellent beer and friendly staff / locals. Bit off the beaten track but if you are staying in Gorleston it's well worth a visit for a pint or three.
Absolutely Amazing New Lease Owners & Staff. Total Change Around. Family Friendly, Dog Friendly, Serving Local Lacons Beer & Ale, Pool Teams, Darts Teams, Fantastic Live Music Most Weekends When On, Otherwise Free Jukebox, Sunday Meat Raffle @ 2pm, Bar Games Played, Monthly Quiz Night, Open The Box and So Much More. For 2019, The King William IV Gorleston Will Be Holding a annual charity day for the local hospital Children’s Ward details to be released early January. So I’m very clear things have changed so much for the better, in the Last Couple Of Year’s making it One of the most popular Local Pubs in Gorleston & Surrounding Areas 2017 - 2019. Really nice pub with good service,would get 4+stars but price lets it down,but as its the only pub on the beach area to get a cool refreshing beverage,your sort of left with no choice,£30 for a8oz steak REALLY
Wonderful local & holiday pub. Treated like one of the family. So friendly, always a smile. Can,t fault.
A decent boozer with a roaring fire and friendly bar staff. Don't expect to find any real ale though - shame considering the vast number of breweries in this part of the world.
Great open fire, real ales now served, old fashioned pub,but can turn into night club when required.nice place.
