Place was empty when I was there. The waitress was switching on lights as I need them, like when going toilet, what was not a very good feeling. She was nice though and the food was ok. 25% discount on Mondays what is always welcome. I guess when busier the atmosphere is different.
Not too bad, it was a little bit overly noisy due to the music being far too loud, decent decor. I found it spacious with good lighting. The staff were polite & attentive.
Not a bad night out. Different band every Friday, some being better than others. The disco afterwards wasn't too bad either, although the website says there's music over 3 floors. I've never seen them. I ordered a cocktail from the bar but wasn't made aware of the 2 for 1 deals. Not such a good party atmosphere either but it made a nice change to hear some live music.
Nice venue. Good music on a Saturday night. Good choice of drinks. Just annoying that the gent's toilets are on the main floor but you have to go up/down a metal spiral staircase if you're going to the ladies - it's dangerous coming down them in a pair of heels!
This is a nice bar good seating area & serves good food at reasonable prices . Got a function room upstairs also has tribute acts once a month . Two flight of stairs to get to main bar & restaurant ! Not sure if there is a lift . Worth a visit
We had my sisters 40th party there.Great staff and top Mark's for the dj who actually listened to what you wanted on.
The place looked so nice, it had old pictures of famous people such as Elvis Presley and Madonna and the home made brownie was the best thing I've ever tasted it melted right in ur mouth
Empty on a Saturday night, good place to watch casualty while having a pint, seriously is that all they could put on screens.
Poor performance today. Asked twice to order. Then told sorry I forgot. Then told, 5 minutes, then 10 minute delay after finally ordering. Then another 10 minutes returned staff said a 45 minute delay. We have a 2 year old waiting to be fed. Not good enough. Just be right with us from the start. If the staff hadn’t “forgotten” us in the first place we would of been ahead of the two tables that were taken in front of use then. waited 10 minutes to pay for our drinks so we can get fed elsewhere. Ash please sort it out. It’s sad really as usually a great place to eat and drink.
Wonderful experience! I recently visited this sweet little place, and had the most pleasurable time while being here. They have a lot of offers going about across the week, and run a 2 for 1 cocktails offer everyday, so getting a nice drink to go along with your meal is pretty easy to do here. On my visit I ordered a burger, it was amazing! It came with 3 meats Beef, Chicken and bacon and I was able to select a sauce from the wide range of sauces that they have at the venue. The atmosphere is wonderful and makes you feel like you're sat right in the heart of the 1960s - early 2000s with the wide array of music that they play here. The gentleman that greeted me on my arrival was one of the most pleasant people I've met, he helped myself and my friend order food, let us know what offers were on and was extremely pleasant past that. The prices here are pretty great, especially considering how high quality the food and drinks are here. Including 2 cocktails, a full meal and sides myself and my friend dined for around £15 per person. Overall I would highly recommend the rock cafe to anyone passing and looking for a nice meal, or even just a quick drink.
