I attended the afternoon session of the cider and sausage festival I enjoyed the free samples of cider and I bought a few as well from the difference stall holders but I was expecting more sausage sellers there was only 2 stalls. I bought from both and enjoyed the Welsh Dragon and the black pudding sausage from extraordinary bangers and the cheese frankfurter from Simon sausage. There was a brit pop band on that everyone was enjoying many of us were swaying and singing along.
Superb building. Not sure if it’s a listed building but check out these pictures of the old toilets upstairs and the cloakroom from days gone by. Great venue and some brilliant shows are put on here as well as craft shows and lots of other fun stuff like wrestling etc.
A spacious facility for large groups and events. Parking facility is bang opposite. The ambience is beautiful. Can be maintained more better though

Had my graduation ceremony here, was well organised but, was slightly underwhelming compared to other friends and other universities. Was expecting to have this at Trentham gardens for really nice photos. but people here did a great job hosting the graduation for Staffs uni
A great musical venue in Stoke we enjoyed the classical concert by Symphonia Verbum, very talented young people who deserve lots of support... it was a pity not more people were there ..they missed a treat..please support all forms of musical entertainment.thank you
Beautiful listed building with great interiors and space. Just be aware on their recent services! Dissapointed on their service after having held 3 other wedding events. They do not allow caterers to provide drinks as they have a self service bar. Besides charged £9.50 per bottle of 2litre drink on the table if guests didn't go for self service drinks! Ridiculous amount! As a guest very disappointed and unhappy that they have over charged so much to make quick profit. Everyone has had difficulties throughout this covid pandemic! Why not help each other? This was more like day light robbery! They should allow caters to cater properly or charge reasonable amount on drinks! Hall was booked till 6pm but staff were rude and trying to get all guests out by 5pm. In fact came up to me 3 times within 10minutes telling us all to leave! I hope they have a way to reconcile and resolve this for future reference!
Booked for wedding party and had a bad experience from the King's hall representatives. This is our second time booking with Kings hall and they would not let us use the speakers or even pay for the music with it being a Sunday for some reason. That meant we had to go out and purchase speakers from Currys just minutes before our event. We were also charged £9.50 per 2lt bottle which is extortionate and they wouldn't let us bring our own even though we we're doing catering for around 300 which meant many soft drink bottles. Lastly we booked the venue until 6pm and we were told to start leaving from 5pm so they could "clean up". Sorry this should be done in your own time and many people could not take pictures due to this. All round bad experience from your staff which is a shame and bad representation of Kings hall as if you had better staff managing this place it has potential to be a great venue.
Hosted an event there recently and King's Hall was first choice due to successful past events. However, this time round it was a disappointing experience. Firstly, the drinks policy has changed recently so we couldn't supply our own soft drinks or have our caterers provide drinks with the food. After a lot of back and forth, we had to purchase 2l bottles of pepsi from the bar, at 9.50 a bottle to place on the tables for our guests- extortionate. I'd enquired about speakers and playing some music earlier in the week and was told someone would get back to me about what my options were- no one did. On the day we were told we'd have to use our own speakers, so just before the event, we had to purchase new speakers to use in the venue. They refused to supply one of our vendors with a table to display some desserts despite there being spare tables dotted around the perimeter of the hall. She finally managed to get a table after a lot of deliberation. She advised us that the staff were unhelpful compared to other venues she'd worked with. Everything was rushed at the end and our guests were told to leave whilst in the middle of taking photos. Such a shame as everyone had commented on how beautiful the hall was. It has a lot of potential, just not realised at the moment. I know that you're trying to make a profit after the pandemic, but everyone's been through it.. Could be a bit more understanding and accommodating. A good experience = good reviews- There were 300 people at this event.
A lovely place huge beautifull landmark of my home towm stoke stoke on trent . The venue was a Northern Soul night 9pm till 6am which wasva good night wasnt as busy as i expected but covid is why as people came from all over the country
