Kimos Restaurant

Story

Dating back to 1991, Kimos was born as a humble take away shop.It was not long before our customers began to appreciate the quality of our food and in 2000 our first cafe was established in Myrtle Street (now known to most as "little Kimos").
Shortly after and in an attempt to accommodate our growing clientele, Kimos II ("big Kimos") opened its doors in 2003 in our basement premises at Mount Pleasant, finally moving to our newly built restaurant premises one block away in 2006.
Kimos has been a success story based on hard work, excellent customer care and honest, simple food, accessible to everyone.

This is one of my favourite Mediterranean restaurants. It’s great for price and quality, my favourite is the soup they make, it is top tier! It’s the perfect place if you want a quiet restaurant that’s laid back and home like from its interior design to the friendly staff.Food: 5/5
Excellent restaurant, amazing food, high selection, will definitely go again.Food: 5/5
Always a lovely meal at kimos Starter of in house made fresh hummus and fresh pitta is delectable very fresh and can taste all the flavours coming thru Chicken Mendy is devine with the chicken so soft and tender falling off the bone in a home made marinade with rice so soft and fresh with small pieces of fresh veg. Came with pickled cabbage salad crunchy and lovely The garlic cheese bread is amazing it comes as a calazone type and the cheese pull together with he garlic butter is sensational. The lamb Mendy is amazing also. The lamb biryani was tasty but I felt it could have had more meat in. Will keep going back no doubt.
Nice place to come and eat, the garlic bread is always delicious full of flavour, I had the egg shook-shooka was scrumptious.Food: 4/5
The employees were generous and friendly and loved the traditional atmosphere. We ordered a lamb biryani and a mixed kebab with portion of chips which was super delicious and i would recommend everyone to try the lamb biryani once, won’t regret it. Visiting again is a must.Food: 5/5
This was recommended from a friend. The atmosphere was really welcoming and comforting. I wanted to sit on the sofa but decided to sit in the normal table/chairs. We went for breakfast and I loved the Kabdeh. We needed more bread but I still loved it. Would have ordered more if I could eat more but I got full! Would definitely recommend and visit next time I am in Liverpool again! Only thing I want to tell the restaurant is to clean the menus and table a little better. Thanks for the service though!
Good Halal spot in Liverpool. Good food, decent portion sizes. Had the breakfast option, great value too. Defo would come backFood: 5/5
This is my favourite restaurant in Liverpool since 2013, high quality food and great Mediterranean cuisine. Gotta give it a full mark. It used to have fresh orange juice though but no more.Food: 5/5
The best cheesey garlic bread obe ever had. Their pizza was great too. The full English might not have traditional ingredients, but it is still a top quality breakfast. Nice vibe and friendly staff.Food: 5/5
I had my wedding venue at the Kimos restaurant, and without any exaggeration, it was PERFECT thanks to them. We had our ceremony at St. George’s hall followed by a very beautiful reception venue at Kimos. They have a huge space downstairs, which they use for parties and venues. This room has the capacity to sit very large groups, and it is perfect for weddings; we were almost 50 people but still several seats were empty and there was a large space for dancing. The room along with the furniture were so artistic and beautiful, and the lighting was wonderful and romantic. The food we served was their third option for the buffet, including chicken curry, roast lamb and chocolate fudge, as well as starters and soft drinks. The quality of the food was extraordinary, and all our guests loved it. The staff were very nice, and the owner/manager of the restaurant who planned the whole thing was so wonderfully helpful and friendly! I just added a few photos, but you can ask the owner to show you more pics and videos if you’re considering having your venue there.
