Yummy korean food in the heart of london!

Story

Korean food has been eaten around the world for centuries and is becoming increasingly famous for its health benefits and great-tasting tapas style dishes - especially Kimchee.

The most famous dish in Korean cuisine, Kimchee, is a spicy hot condiment made of fermented vegetables and a variety of seasonings, and traditionally accompanies every meal. Kimchee has a fantastic flavour and has gained a new following around the world.

Korean cuisine is largely based on rice, noodles, tofu, vegetables and meat. A typical table will be packed full of different dishes which all complement each other. The Korean style is to share meals with several people and each dish incorporates rich seasonings and spices that taste even better when eaten all together.

Koreans love to dine together – and their food reflects this. It should all be served and eaten at the same time to truly experience the mouth-watering flavours of this cuisine.

Gorgeous surroundings and beautiful decor. Lovely waiting staff, friendly but efficient and helpful. Ordered food to share between four. It's a little difficult to order with one that doesn't eat pork and one that doesn't eat pork, beef, or seafood. We got there in the end. We ordered four very different drinks, two with alcohol and two without. Everything looked and tasted delicious! I am particularly fond of the pickle radish. Could have done with more! The only thing I wasn't keen on was the benches to sit on, but that's minor. I would definitely say book a table on a Friday. Our friend had the common sense to do this, and it was an early dinner. On our way out, there were queues already forming! Love, love, love, and would go again!
Had a delightful lunch here on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Despite the bustling atmosphere, we were seated after a brief 15-minute wait as the kitchen caught up with orders. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The menu offers a diverse selection of Korean dishes, each worth trying. The restaurant’s high ceilings and elegant decor create an upscale ambiance, yet the prices remain very reasonable. Highly recommend for a great dining experience!
Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday. It was pretty busy and we did not have a reservation. Luckily the wait was not too bad before we got seated. When we were showed our table, we were told that due to them being busy we only had an hour, which was no problem at all, as we had time to decide on what to eat while waiting and told the person leading us to the table we were pretty much ready to order. However, it took a bit of time before anyone came to take order considering they were in a hurry for us to free up the table. Overall the service was not great. Although the staff were nice and friendly, we got our main dish before our starter although, totally fine considering they were busy and in a hurry to free up the table for other bookings and had been served three of our four dishes before the drinks arrived, which was not great. The food was generally ok, but the Galbi Jjim was insanely oily – to the degree it was impossible getting any of the broth under the layer of oil onto the spoon. So in general, pretty mediocre experience, and not in a hurry to come back considering there is plenty of better alternatives for Korean food in the area.
I found the food to be really tasty, with authentic flavors and good quality ingredients. However, the portion sizes were quite small for the price, which was a bit disappointing. The service was also slower than expected, which took away from the overall experience. If they could improve the service speed and portion sizes, it would be a great place to dine.
Amazing and tasty food with quick and efficient service. We didn’t feel rushed at all, some restaurants have a 1 and half hour or 2 hour seated time before they start pressuring you to leave, but this place was the opposite. We felt very relaxed. One less star on atmosphere because it was a little loud and hard to hear when having conversation.
We had a lovely Sunday afternoon meal here outdoor under the sunshine. The restaurant was quite packed right now despite the lively ambiance, so we had to wait longer than fifteen minutes for our cocktails. The dish was exquisitely prepared and tasted great. There are many different Korean delicacies on the menu that are all worth trying. The restaurant has a classy atmosphere thanks to its high ceilings and tasteful decor, but the costs are still relatively affordable.
We had dinner with a friend and we enjoyed the food and ambiance. We booked in advance but the queue was quite long and they seemed a bit overwhelmed. We ordered different dishes to share like the spring onion pancake, some mandu, broccoli, sweet chicken and rice. All was quite good! Though we were seating next to the entrance and it the doors were always opened so quite cold. But the staff was nice and we had a good time.
We had a great experience. Food was lovely, ambience was great as was the hospital. Our waiter Rizwan was very helpful and helped to make our friend’s special day that much better! Will definitely be back again.
This restaurant is a gem that never fails to impress. The establishment boasts a beautiful and meticulously detailed interior, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners. The food is simply outstanding, with each dish prepared to perfection and bursting with authentic flavours. The staff here are exceptional – always friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience. Every time I visit London, stopping by this restaurant has become a cherished tradition. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy excellent Korean food in a wonderful setting.
I went with my partner and family, and we all loved it! We had SK start us off with our drinks and had a great all round work ethic. We had Yuri as our primary waitress and she was amazing! She was helping us indulge in Korean culture and helped us cook our meat, and was able to create a great atmosphere, talking to us about her time at work and was very happy to help, and also left us to appreciate the experience for ourselves. Outstanding altogether
