This is a wonderful fishing spot for family and friends. It was my first fishing in more than 30 years, and my very first in the United Kingdom. I did enjoy every moment, with a good size fish taking home to family. I am definitely coming back!
Booked a 4 hour fly fishing session and caught 3 rainbow trout in excellent condition 2 for the table and 1 released. It was a beautiful setting and the weather was kind. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the cafe was very good. The catch was cleaned, filleted and packed without further charge. Highly recommended!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Every time we come here we love the family fishing pond. So great for young kids and a beautiful spot with wildlife trail and cafe on site.
A tremendous day out for any age. My 3yr old was delighted with the nature trail, feeding the fish and the overall experience. We visited the cafe and got a nice coffee me, not him!, he sampled the cake and not a crumb was left. Great value, great day, can't wait to visit again. The car park was full when we left so get in early!
Beautiful part of the world with a great host and cyclists welcome. Cafe and service were superb! Will call again!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

I ordered a Trout Chowder and Trout Sandwich. The chowder was very bland and the consistency very thin which I suspect was due to it being made with very little if any milk or cream and the trout sandwich was very plain and dry. What really annoyed me though and prompted me to write this review was when I asked the man who brought me the food if I could have some horseradish with my trout sandwich he simply replied 'No!' in a brusque manner. Very poor customer service.
Wonderful place, the lady slipper orchids I came here to see were spectacularly beautifulVisited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Came upon this lovely place quite by chance whilst out on a drive around the Dales. Stopped for lunch and enjoyed some gorgeous sandwiches. Reasonably priced, excellent food and service and we bought some of the gorgeous cakes to take back to the caravan!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Absolutely fantastic day out, lovely food, staff were really helpful, we had a lovely walk on the trail, loved the animals and fed the fish. Didn't actually fish this time, but lots of people seemed to be really enjoying it. Will definitely return for another visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
