Sabeehah and the team were amazing! We aimed to just go and look at the stock as this was the first time that we had gone looking! I went with a totally different brand in mind and ended up leaving with a Bababing bundle, all of the girls were very knowledgeable about the Bababing brand the owners clearly did a great job of relating the product to the team and they let us test out putting the buggy in the car and showed us a few times how easy it was to put down and up again, really impressed have recommended my other pregnant friends to go here to have a look! Amelia was so incredibly helpful and patient with me as she assisted me to pick a pram and car seat for my first baby. She gave me clear instructions and demonstrations on how to use each pram I was interested in, she helped weigh up the pros and cons of each of my options and she was so polite and lovely. I visited the showroom twice and she made sure I was certain about my choice before I committed to the right one which I am now so happy with as it is perfect for me and my partner. Thank you so much x
Awful service and damaged nursery itemnnTerrible experience with Kiddies Kingdom. After repeated failed deliveries, the item arrived in a torn, crushed box. The contents were damaged: chipped panels, splintered wooden slats a serious safety concern for a nursery item, and crushed fittings. We also did not receive the correct item.nnMy wife is pregnant, and I took time off work to be available for delivery, only to be left with stress, delays, and no proper resolution. For a baby product retailer, the lack of care and accountability is shocking. Avoid at all costs.
EDIT: Kiddieskingdom’s idea of a resolution is to charge me a £229 “usage fee”!!!!! So a refund of £46. But £16 of that relates to an additional amount I paid for a different seat, as the original was unavailable but which was immediately returned back to them! So what did I use exactly?! This goes against the Consumer Rights Act given I returned the original seat under warranty because it developed a fault! They are crooks!!!!nnI could write a short story on my experience with KiddiesKingdom the past 6 weeks! But here’s the key details; I returned a seat I purchased last year because it became faulty. I was offered an alternative replacement seat and when it finally arrived, it was evident it was USED. The box had the previous recipient’s address label visibly removed, it wasn’t in the original packaging, tags had been removed, accessories opened out of their bags and scratches on the base of the seat. Appalling. I made a complaint, and the seat was returned. I requested a full refund.nnBut when they finally replied I was told a refund could not yet be processed because they’d sent me yet another replacement seat. I never asked to be sent another seat!! Well, to my absolute horror, when that arrived, it was also USED!!! AGAIN!! It came in an unbranded plain box which was an absolute monstrosity - completely open and falling apart at the seams, there was zero padding/protection in the box to aid a safe transit, there was no original packaging AGAIN, original tags etc removed AGAIN and clear signs of wear and tear on the base AGAIN. Have asked for a full refund AGAIN and still waiting for a response.nnMissing from the above summary of this whole ordeal are the countless times my emails have been ignored, the countless times I have had to chase for responses, the multiple times I have called their customer services line and been told they cannot help, and the truly appalling and non existent customer service they provide. This company have zero integrity, have no regard for the importance of car seat safety and I would urge all parents to avoid this company like the plague as they can’t be trusted to provide products for your little ones!
We’ve recently visited to upgrade our car seat now our little one has out grown his infant carrier. Bethany assisted us and she was brill. She was patient and very accommodating. Her enthusiasm shines through and nothing was too much for her. She was great with our little one too and was able to answer every question we had. In fact all the girls that were working that day were lovely. We were asking all sorts of questions, not just about the car seat we bought but about our pram too and they were all very knowledgeable. Thank you, no doubt we will be back soon!
