Getting through on the phone is near impossible and so I use the online patient access service which is pretty good. The service I've had from reception has been hit and miss, some staff are lovely others are in the wrong job. The nurses are fantastic here and I've no complaints whatsoever. The doctors are mostly fine- I have my favourites, Dr Blanchard and Dr Jackson are excellent - the others I've seen are not particularly helpful. It's better now that you can gain access from the car park as having to walk around the building to get in is inconvenient. Whoever drew up the plans for this building must have hit their head.

The staff are friendly and easy to deal with, but the support systems are poor in the extreme. I agree with all previous reviewers on the terrible length of time it takes to get through on the phone. The call abandoned statistics must be eye watering. In addition, prescriptions ordered via pharmacists are "lost". Mine were not available this week with the Medical Centre saying the pharmacist had not ordered them. I have evidence to prove the date and time of the order.

I have always found staff helpful and polite and there is access from the car park at the back of the building giving access to stairs and a lift to the Upper floors and reception.

If I could give this surgery no stars I would. 40 mins waiting for them to answer a phonecall for an appointment. Once through they couldn't offer any appointments at surgery unless have a telephone appt first. It was mid Feb and they couldn't offer a phone consultation appt until end of March, almost last Appt of the day so no chance to get to actually see a Dr that day either. Patient (close relative) went online and was able to book a telephone appt for a week's time. For an ear infection, which is painful this is so far from acceptable it's ridiculous. And all this as patient had previously called and waited for a phone appt and was told not able to see a Dr as there was no need. Appt was booked to see a nurse. Treatment didn't work. So still now trying to SEE a Dr!!!! Absolutely USELESS. Oversubscribed? Lazy? Greedy?
