Useless. The Doctors are generally good, some are excellent. The problem is getting to them. The staff at the reception are generally incompetent, and will do nothing but blurt out the policy of the practice. Not an ounce of understanding. The ring-in service is non-functional. There was a frail old man who came in while I was waiting to see my doctor a while ago. He took a good minute to hobble from the entrance to the reception desk. He asked for an appointment but was immediately turned away and told that he had to ring in. A lack of humanity. Would not recommend. Save your sanity.
I'm only giving them 1 star because I have to give a star to write a review, if I could I would give them no stars. They put you on hold then hang up on you constantly or you're left sitting on hold for an hour or in that hour no one even bothers to answer the phone for ages because they put 1 person to manage the desk and the phone while the other 2 go have a cup of tea and a gossip in the back even with a line waiting out the door, impossible to get an appointment even if you ring at 9 on the dot and even now I've been waiting over a month to get a call back for a slot to get a B12 injection... a B12 injection that takes two seconds to do. They're a joke. I can't stress this enough... Choose somewhere else for your GP! They're too understaffed to handle the length of their patient list but sure that's what happens when these doctors and practices start getting greedy. Go anywhere else but here.
Ask if there was any chance of speaking to a doctor about maybe getting an X-ray on my pelvis and was told that would be a routine appointment request that I’d have to call back on Monday. Don’t get how that can be determined from a phone call and no explanation of what’s wrong with me terrible practice passed couple of years
The absolute worst practice I have ever encountered. I don't know who gets through for appointments because each day I attempt to ring, the line is always engaged and then after 45 minutes hitting redial, I'm informed that all routine appointments have been booked. The staff are some of the most I'll mannered people I have e we come across, which is such a shame as some of the doctors are absolutely fantastic. I guess I'll have to try A&E just to be seen
Boris Johnson will become a socialist before you get an appointment. Two days in a row I have called at nine o'clock on the dot, gotten through and have been cut off multiple times after choosing the option for appointments. They need to seriously update their booking services because they do the doctors and staff who are great a disservice.
Absolute disgrace of a practice. My mother, who has cancer, tried to ring today to order a prescription for my sister, after an HOUR on the phone she got through and was told she had to come to the practice to order the script, - so my father went to practice only to be told that an appointment had to be made before the script was issued. So he asked for an appointment - NO you have to ring for an appointment! This is just one example from one day of what it's like to be a patient here. My grandmother has been having symptoms of dementia for months, still no diagnosis, still no care package in place symptoms getting worse by the day. Their top priority seems to be reminding you to enter your car reg number when you use the car park.
The worst service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Locally or abroad. 50 mins on hold for a prescription which will probably get refused. Again. I notice now that yous have introduced disconnecting calls when on hold which is a nice touch. I also see yous operate a zero tolerance on abuse policy which I agree with 100%. But just how much abuse are patients expected to take? 50 mins on hold and this is a common practice experienced by all your patients. That’s torture! which, I sure you all agree with is a form of abuse. Look forward to my next experience
I haven't had my antidepressants in over a month. Cannot get through to them and when I do I'm caught with the rudest receptionist to just argue there's no appointments or emergency appointments. Clearly not enough doctors or staff to take on the patients they must have because you can never get an appointment. Disgrace, and the receptionists need a good look into the way they speak to people also. Wouldn't want to be in a bad way you'd be worse off by the time someone in this practice answered the phone.
Got registered well over 3 and a half months and still havent seen anyone at all ! Been ringing and ringing everyday this past 3 months and no appointments ! Disgrace of a place ! I ring at 9am and all appointments are booked for today please try again the next day! ! ABSOLUTELY A DISGRACE OF A PLACE !
Never ever ever answer their phone, have to be the worst doctors surgery in Derry. Been trying to get an appointment for two weeks, ridiculous. I actually think they have just disconnected "option 1" for appointments. My advise to anyone is go with a more reliable surgery.
