We first met Kevin when he restored our iron gate in London and adorned it with most gorgeous beveled-scroll hasp. We were so enchanted by his magical workshop in Surrey Dock Farm that we came out for a practical day, crafting tools that we’ll forever cherish. Kevin is a marvelous teacher, and a prince among men. Cannot over-recommend. We’ll be back soon.
I booked a sword making session for my husband for this Valentine’s day and we had such an amazing time with Kevin here. Thank you so much Kevin
Did a 5-hour lesson with my brother, we made two hatchets, one for each of us. He held the metal in place while I hammered. The instructor did the angle grinding and made the handles; I'm sure he would have let us do it if we had the time and the know-how. Great lesson, nice instructor, and you get to keep the cool things you make of course. Just be prepared to get covered in soot from the coal smoke.
Great experience so far and I'm only half way through! Kevin is a lovely person to be around and he takes you through every step of the way helping out where he can! Would definitely recommend to a friend and I will most definitely be coming back!
Spent a fantastic Sunday afternoon at Kevin's forge. This was a birthday treat from my husband and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We each made a candlestick under the expert tutelage of Kevin whose passion for his craft was apparent. Would highly recommend this and would definitely do this again.
Did the three hour class and loved it. Kevin is a great instructor. Made a cute knife and since I finished it a bit earlier than expected he gave me some more steel and I made a couple of hooks as well. Had a blast!
