An important bit of infrastructure for pedestrians and vehicles. The bridge has good views of the firth from it and of Inverness area. I'm very pleased you can walk across and my only improvement would be a new lick of paint.
Suspension bridge with good view of Kessock. Not far from the bridge is a pull in where you can go down the steps lots of to Kessock. It was October when we went so very, very quiet but the shop was open & there was a cafe too. Well worth a visit.
The Kessock Bridge is a cable stayed bridge connecting the village of North Kessock and the city of Inverness in the Scotland. If we want to get the full view of the bridge you need to navigate to “Stadium Road, Inverness, post code: IV1 1FF”. There is a parking bay on the Stadium Road. I was able to see the full view of the bridge from Stadium Road. - Wide angle lens is handy to capture the full view of the bridge. Lately and it seems to be a trend that people young and old are taking their own lives on this bridge. There has to be some safety inspections to determine the way to stop this. I read the council's 10 step mandate over Christmas on Facebook and thought "no". It's best to see to that Bridge.
Stunning suspension bridge, drove over on our way to Loch Ness, absolutely stunning views at sunset, a couple of places to pull in to appreciate the view.
Major Crossing of importance. The bride was opened in 1982. Before that it was either a ferry crossing or a 30 mile* round trip. The bridge connects north kessock and south kessock. You can see snow cappes mountains when crossing it.
Crossing this bridge brings back lovely memories of visiting my grandparents as a child, great bridge, stunning view.
